It felt as if the earth shattered when I heard the news that The White Stripes where ending their music career as a band. I thought to my self, ‘No more White Stripes albums?’ But alas, Jack White has graced us with some solo music and a small Jack White Tour. Only a handful of 2012 Jack White Tour Dates have been announced so far, but it should be enough for all you White Stripes fans out there.

Coldplay has announced their 21 tour dates 2012 North American tour, in support of its just-released fifth album, Mylo Xyloto.

The Coldplay Tour kicks off on April 17, 2012 in Edmonton, Alb. and will end on August 11th 2012 in St. Paul, Minn. Concert Tickets for most shows and concerts go on sale on December 17th.

The fifth album from Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto, became No. 1 album upon its Oct. 25, topping the Billboard 200 with almost 450,000 copies sold in its first week. Although the album was released after the 2012 Grammys eligibility period, its first two singles, ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’ and ‘Paradise’, were nominated for Best Rock Peformance and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, respectively.

While ‘Paradise’ sits at No. 4 on the current Rock Songs chart, Coldplay’s next single, ‘Charlie Brown’, will be sent to radio stations shortly.

Bonnaroo Music Festival

Each year, for the past eleven years, Manchester, Tennessee has hosted the Bonnaroo Music Festival. And every year, the lineup never lets down anyone. This year’s lineup has been announced, and headlining the festival are heavyweights: Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, and the reunited Beach Boys. The festival will run from June 7th through the 10th and will host over 150 bands–more to be announced in the coming weeks–not including the comedians to perform in the thirteen stages the festival will have.

Festival tickets go on sale Saturday, February 18th at noon ET through the festival’s website http://www.bonnaroo.com/tickets  .
Other acts included in the lineup are: The Shins, Bon Iver, Feist, Tune-yeards, St. Vincent, The Black Lips, Here We Go Magic and White Denim, amongst a bunch more.

Madonna fans will have a lot to cheer about. Besides news of a 2012 Madonna Tour, you should check out the standard edition artwork for Madonna‘s twelfth studio album, MDNA, set to be released on March 26. Madonna plans a world of concerts and tour dates for 2012.

The album’s artwork was shot by Mert and Marcus and directed by Giovanni Bianco.

The 53-year-old entertainer has just announced the tour dates for her 2012 World Tour starting May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Madonna tour dates will play arenas, stadiums, unique outdoor sights, and will visit 26 European markets before hitting North American states beginning August 28.

Jane’s Addiction has announced a 2012 North American tour to support their new album called ‘The Great Escape Artist’.
The 2011 album was the band’s first real work together in eight years, and they followed the October album release with a small tour of live shows & concerts along the west coast and at certain festivals. Beginning on Feb. 22, 2012, Jane’s Addiction will begin their tour on an 18 concert tour show in 32 day trip across the United States and North America.

Concert Tickets for the Theater of Escapists Janes Addiction Tour go on sale Jan. 14, with a special pre-sale beginning Wednesday morning (Jan. 11) at 10AM ET at the band’s website.

When asked, singer Perry Farrell said “We chose to play as many of the great theaters that we could find because we wanted to immerse the audience in a unique experience unlike any they have ever seen at a rock show”. “Expect an orgy of musical and visual delights. We like orgies, and hope you do too.”

Lead Guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Chris Chaney will make up the rest of the group.

‘The Great Escape Artist’ is the 4th studio album from Jane’s Addiction, featuring ‘Irresistible Force’ and the current hit single ‘Underground.’

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will definitely be touring North America this year. They’ve announced almost 20 tour dates so far and THe Boss has dubbed this tour, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ Tour. The tour begins in Atlants GA on the 18th of March and continues on through early May. Stops on the way include the Izod Center in New Jersey on the 3rd and 4th of April, along with two dates at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City.
